“Dancing With the Stars” will have a new set of cast members this fall.
A new dimension of the show for viewers to enjoy is very promising this coming
spring with these celebrities:

1. Billy Ray Cyrus - this famous country music star attained superstardom status after the release of his hit single “Achy Breaky Heart” during the early 1990s. He is currently part of the “Hannah Montana” cast. This Disney Channel show also features Miley who happens to be Billy Ray Cyrus’ daughter.

2. Laila Ali - Laila is the daughter of the legendary boxing superstar Muhammad Ali. 1999 was a big event for women’s boxing since she first appeared in the ring during this time. After a long line of wins sensationalized by the media to high-profile status, she retired from the sport early this year.

3. Heather Mills - this former model is now campaigning for a wide array of cause-oriented programs including a UN post as an ambassador of goodwill. Her recent separation from singer/composer Paul McCartney was sensational news this year.

4. Joey Fatone- being a member of the ‘N Sync boy band, he attained superstardom status in the music business across the globe with his signature dance moves along with his voice. After the ‘N Sync breakup, he was featured in the 2002 movie “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”, and this started his plans of pursuing an acting career.

5. Clyde Drexler - a member of the Basketball Hall of Fame and former Houston Rockets shooting guard, Drexler boasts of a 1995 NBA championship ring along with a 1992 Olympic gold medal.

6. Shandi Finnessey - this Game Show Network hostess won the 2004 Miss USA pageant. The current job as a TV hostess started after her reign as 2004 Miss USA ended.

7. Ian Ziering - this “Beverly Hills 90210″ star will be remembered by fans all over the world as Steve Sanders. He has played various film and TV roles after the show had ended.

8. Paulina Porizkova - having attained supermodel status after being featured as the cover model for the 1982 and 1985 Sport’s Illustrated swimsuit magazine issues, she later became more popular after posing for Playboy magazine.

9. Leeza Gibbons - this TV talk show hostess of “Leeza” was considered as a daytime TV star during the mid 1980s up to the late 1990s. She had also appeared as a featured star on “Extra”, “The Simple Life,” and “Entertainment Tonight” among other popular TV shows.

10. Apolo Anton Ohno - after becoming a widely popular speed skater by winning five Olympic medals, he is now considered to have full command of footwork dancing mastery.

11. Vincent Pastore - this “The Sopranos” star, known by millions around the globe as Salvatore “Big Pussy” Bonpensiero, is also a host on a Sirius satellite radio show.
